The Recreation Attendant – Ski Valetis responsible fordelivering exceptional service to guests through ski valet, equipment rental, and boot fitting services while creating memorable experiences reflective of Montage's commitment to ultra-luxury hospitality. This position serves as a key point of contact for guests throughout their ski experience, ensuring a seamless journey from equipment fitting and rental to daily mountain access and equipment storage.
The ideal candidate is service-oriented, detail-focused, knowledgeable about ski equipment, and thrives in a fast-paced outdoor environment whilemaintainingthe highest standards of professionalism and guest care.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Conduct equipment sizing, fitting, adjustments, and inspections of skis, snowboards, boots, poles, and related gear.
Handle the storage, retrieval, transportation, and organization of skis, snowboards, boots, and other equipment with care and attention to detail.
Provide knowledgeable informationregardingmountain conditions, trail recommendations, resort amenities, and recreational offerings.
Previousexperience in ski rental operations, ski valet services, boot fitting, outdoor recreation, or related guest service roles preferred.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Must be comfortable working outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including snow, ice, wind, cold temperatures, and other inclement mountain weather.
