Here's the truth about The Riverhouse — none of it works without the dish station. Not the brisket. Not the service. Not the experience guests drive hours to have. The Dishwasher is the backbone of our kitchen operation and we treat the role with exactly that level of respect.
We're looking for a Dishwasher who shows up, works hard, takes pride in keeping the kitchen running clean and efficient, and understands that being a reliable, positive presence on the team is worth everything. If that's you — you'll fit right in.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Maintain a continuous, efficient flow of clean dishes, cookware, and utensils throughout service
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and effectively
- Keep the dish station and surrounding kitchen areas clean, organized, and sanitized at all times
- Assist kitchen team with basic prep tasks and cleaning during slower periods
- Remove and dispose of kitchen waste promptly and correctly
- Support closing cleaning procedures at end of service
- Communicate proactively with kitchen team about supply levels and any equipment issues
- Bring consistent, reliable energy to every shift — the kitchen depends on you
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred — not required
- Physical stamina — this is active, on-your-feet work for the duration of every shift
- Reliability and consistency — showing up ready to work is genuinely the most important qualification
- A team-first attitude — you understand that the kitchen wins together or not at all
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain standards under pressure during peak service
- Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts during peak season
- A positive attitude — the dish station sets the energy for the whole kitchen
