THE ROLE
At Black Tie the delivery is the product — and the Delivery and Shop Technician is the person who makes it exceptional. You'll spend your time both in the shop and out on the road — packing and prepping bike packages based on individual guest stats and preferences, delivering equipment to lodges and accommodations across Big Sky, conducting full on-site screenings to ensure every bike is perfectly fitted and trail-ready, and returning to the shop for equipment testing, maintenance, and repair between runs. It's a well-rounded role for someone who loves both the technical side of bikes and the guest-facing satisfaction of delivering a world-class experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Pack and prepare bike rental packages based on individual client stats and preferences — ensuring every delivery is customized and complete before leaving the shop
- Deliver Black Tie's curated fleet of mountain bikes, eBikes, and youth bikes to guest accommodations across Big Sky — lodges, cabins, condos, and private residences
- Conduct full on-site equipment screenings at delivery — checking fit, adjusting components, and walking guests through their rental with confidence and care
- Perform equipment testing, maintenance, and repair in the shop during non-delivery windows — keeping Black Tie's premium fleet in impeccable condition
- Handle pickups and equipment switchouts as directed by the operations team throughout every shift
- Represent Black Tie's brand standards on every guest interaction — warm, professional, and genuinely enthusiastic about Big Sky's summer bike culture
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment — restocking, sanitizing, and preparing equipment for the next wave of deliveries

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record — required
- Basic to intermediate bike mechanical knowledge — hands-on comfort with adjustments and minor repairs
- Physical stamina — loading, unloading, and transporting equipment throughout every shift up to 50lbs
- Genuine passion for bikes and mountain recreation — you love what you're delivering
- Outstanding interpersonal skills — you're the face of the Black Tie experience for every guest you meet
- Reliability and punctuality — delivery windows are time-sensitive and guests are counting on you
- Flexibility for peak season scheduling including weekends and holidays
COMPENSATION AND PERKS
- Competitive hourly wage
- Tips — guests appreciate excellent delivery service and show it
- Industry pricing on equipment
- Personal use of shop equipment
- Scheduling arranged to protect morning ski and trail time where possible
- Family and friend equipment discounts
THE BLACK TIE BIG SKY DIFFERENCE
Employees consistently describe Black Tie as one of the best seasonal jobs they've ever had — great pay, excellent tips, responsive management, and a team culture built on genuine camaraderie and shared love of the mountain. The work is meaningful — you're not just delivering bikes, you're launching someone's Big Sky adventure. And when your shift ends those same trails are right outside. Lift-served downhill at Big Sky Resort, singletrack below Lone Peak, paved paths through Meadow Village, and the gateway to Yellowstone and Grand Teton are simply your neighborhood here.
Come as you are. Find your season.
